Much has happened...

After being really sick of Poser Pro, I decided to try another 3D Software. Carrara 7 Pro.
I really like it, especially the shader room and vertex modeller. Plus, it is not as sluggish and inflexible as Poser was.


Carrara is pretty complex and requires some will and time to master it. And it's well worth it.

That's one of the reasons why you haven't seen me posting much here. I ran some renderings, though, more experimental ones - not really worth to be posted here.

I am still not there yet, that I can say, I know Carrara good enough to show all my renderings. But I put up a sneak preview and hope you like what you see.

I probably will soon be without internet connection for w hile.

My fiancé (Dirk alias DAN) and I decided to buy a house together.
Soon, within the next couple of days, we will start to move. Weeeeeee yay *dances happily*

So why and how we decided to do so??
One reason is to have a nice home and financial security, when we are too old for work and probably couldn't afford the rent.

The other reason is a sentimental one, which means a great deal more to me than any proposal.

Dirk asked me, if I want to buy a house together with him. And by that I really mean, that he and I both sign the contract and pay back the credit for that undertaking
He could have afforded to buy that house alone, and just let me move in. But he wanted to risk it with me

So what makes me so happy about a more or less common decission a couple makes after a while?

Well...
He already got his share of bad experience and burned fingers in this matter.
Last year he finally found the strength and courage to end something he already wanted to end about seven years ago (seven years before he even knew I existed) - but didn't dare back then because of the huge obligation and financial burden that comes with a house.

All in all, it was one big nightmare and very costy for him to get out of this mess.
My closest friends here know what kind of drama and horror it was.

And still...despite all of this bad experience, he wants to do this with me and is very happy and certain about all of this If that is not some avowal ... then I dunno.
